Medicaid Waiver (NOW) License

The NOW Waiver Programs provider services and support for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) provides day-to-day operations in these programs through six regional field offices. NOW offers services and support to enable individuals to remain living on their own or in their family home and participate in the community.

Medicaid Waiver (COMP) License

The COMP Waiver Programs provider services and support for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) provides day-to-day operations in these programs through six regional field offices. COMP serves individuals with more intensive needs, primarily those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who require residential care.

Requirement 

        – Must have source and CCSP provider numbers for a minimum of 9 mos. in order to obtain these licenses
